Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those that have served and ar serving our country. So why not add fun and creativity to your Memorial Day celebration this year?

Here are some great ideas for giving a special tribute to the occasion:

Send a care package to a vet you know or even a specific troop. Organizations like SupportOurTroops.org and OperationGratitude.com have made it easy to build a box to send or order a premade package www.herocarepackages.com

Put together a picnic - Enjoy classic outdoor activities like horseshoes, Volleyball, or cornhole! And to make it special, why not serve all the traditional Memorial Day BBQ favorites? Burgers, hot dogs, potato salad…and a red, white, and blue trifle.
